The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research(DSIR), provides recognition to software product and manufacturing companies registered in India.
Now what comes to the mind when we talk about R&D, in general? We think that its about making a new groundbreaking product every other day! That is the usual conception, isn’t it?
As much as we would like to believe it, the DSIR has its own definition of the same.
See the difference? It has to be a new product or process, alright, but new for the company!!
