The DSIR (department of scientific and industrial research) provides recognition to product companies with R&D/NPD centers
Very often, people ask that if there is a “right time” to apply for DSIR recognition. To answer that, there isn’t really a right time as such for applying for the recognition. As soon as your company completes the 3rd financial year you are good to go.
So technically speaking, yes there is a right time after all!
On a serious note, as long as you are eligible as per DSIR, there is no right or wrong time!!
So, if you are eligible, go ahead, apply and get recognized by the DSIR!!
